motherboard and hard drive help
does:
Biostar MCP6P M2+ Socket AM2+ mATX Motherboard, GeForce 6150 Chipset, Supports AM2+/AM2 CPUs, Dual DDR2 800, SATA RAID, PCI-E x16
support sata and ide hard drives?

Yes it supports both. Keeping in mind it has 1 ide connector so 2 ide devices can be connected.

kk but currently i have 2 ide and i ordered a sata one can i have atleast one ide and the sata at the same time?

you can have up to 2 ide devices and 4 sata devices hooked up at the same time.

you may need to make a few changes in bios but we will cross that bridge if we need to.
