Default motherboard upgrade help

im upgrading my motherboard cpu and video card, will these be compatable with each other -

Compaq 283983-001 Intel 845 Socket 478 mATX MB w/VID SND & LAN
NVIDIA GeForce 7300LE 256MB PCIe Video Card w/TV-Out
Intel Pentium 4 2.66GHz 533MHz 512KB Socket 478 CPU

no they are not compatible. your motherboard does not have a pcie slot.

yes that mobo has a pci express slot.

how much are you paying for a socket 775 P4?
you could get an e2180 or even a celeron e1200 that would pummel a Pentium4...probably for the same or less money.

go to newegg.com every thing is loads cheaper there and better selection
