Smile motherboard compatibility

i have a Biostar Tforce 965PT ATX LGA775 motherboard. i want to upgrade from a core 2 dual e6400 to a quad core q6600 but i'm not sure if my mobo will support it. I thought all LGA775 sockets support core2quads, but on the biostar website it says it can only use pentiums and dual core cpus. does that mean it's not compatible with quad cores?

Biostar USA

thx

a quad should be fine with that motherboards im sure it would just be a matter of putting it in without having to flash the BIOS

Any chipset 965 and up can support the 800-1066 FSB Core 2 duos.
