Default more ram or invest in cooling...

I have about $100-150. Looking at my sig, should I invest in more ram, or aftermarket cooling. With aftermarket cooling, I'm planning on getting a pair of ram heatspreaders, a VF900, and an Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro. From newegg, those three together cost about $60 including shipping. My temps are all fine but I just want it lower, possibly for OCing. A question on the heatspreaders. My ram is single sided. Can heatspreaders go on single sided ram because, I was afraid of the adhesive touching the side with no memory banks on it. Thanks...

I would get more RAM. Ram heatsinks are just about useless unless you have memory that can handle exteme voltages.

I would like to get 2x1gb ram but don't have enough. Would having 4x512mb be significantly slower then 2x1gb? Would the decrease in performance be noticeable? Thanks for the replies...
