[Micro Rotors]

Hello guys,

I just put together a new machine and it has been running fine for a week now. When it boots up as the text comes up on the screen it used to say "Duel Channel DDR" now it says "Single Channel DDR",

The machine runs fine and it registers all the memory (2 - 512's)

What happened?

Take one of your sticks out and boot it up... see if it reverts back to Dual Channel...

Have you been tinkering in the bios at all ?
Can you download and install CPU-z, then run the cpu-z and post screen shots.

Did you try taking one stick out and booting it up with 512 to see if the DDR reverts ?

well its registering in CPU Z as DDR so thats good atleast.


You could be having a slot issue... what i mean by this, is you may want to test alternate slots on the board... I know that some boards only run the RAM correctly if there are in the spots specified in the MOBO manual.

Also... have you checked out the booting with one stick yet ?
