Default media center pc

i plan on building a media center pc in the summer when i make some more money. now i have all crt televisions in my house and the only way i see that i can hook up the pc to the tv is by s-video. will the picture be any good on the tv when hooking it up via s-video?

If you are using it just for video, its fine. You'll have trouble reading text and things like that though.

ya if you're using it as an htpc, it should be fine. if you want to be surfing and doing actual computer stuff, well then gl.

You should just pick up a cheap flat CRT. (computer monitor) So you can use it as a computer also.

crt would be too big for the area i want to put the computer in.
i was thinking about doing somethins like this: http://www.casemodgod.com/Howto-story--35.html but i dont know if the 6 in. screen will be big enough to see what i'm doing
