Default Making a VIA ARTiGO

So I wanted a small, silent (REALLY silent) PC so I decided to look into the ARTiGO kit (for those of you do know it's this). Everything looks great, especially with the Pico psu. I'm gonna add to it a 256 or 512 RAM and a 16gb or 32 gb flash drive to boot Xubuntu on it.

Problem is, how am I gonna get Xubuntu on it in the first place? External CD drive might work, but I don't have one and I'm don't feel like dropping $50-$100 on something I'll use once.

Anyone have any ideas? You guys can make comments on my system too if you find anything you want me to know.

You can install Windows and linux onto a flash drive without using a cd-rom, it's pretty easy. I don't know how to do it for Linux, though, but I'm sure some one who knows it better can link you the right stuff.
