Default Major Help Needed!!! Different Rams?

Today purchased 2 256mb ddr from best buy cuz they were on sale for 24.99 each.. good deal... so i get home... go to put them in ... take out the 128... and find that the ones i purchased has just one notch on the bottom.... the one i took out of my computer has 2 notches and needs 2 notches... what kind of ram do i need?.. the picture on the box has the one with the 2 notches in the bottom and says ddr but when i opened it up it was the ones with the one notch... i need the ones with the two notches... anywhere i look i can only find the ones with the one notches... anyone know what im talking about someone please help me!!! what are the 2 notch in the bottom ram called?

You need SDRAM. Not DDR Ram. A good brand name of ram can be bought for about 35$. I would go with kingston, but that is just a personal prefference.

Kingston, OCZ, Corsair... those are good RAM Comapnies

I have Kingston it is a bloody good company I would reccommend using it, what are your pc specs?

yea, i was so close to ordering sd ram instead of ddr.. i can have sd but ddr is better.
