socket 7? neva heard of it. im not sure if i have one or not, i shuld check that out, my cpu is 6 years old.

socket 7 is probably the most prolific socket ever. it hosted the original pentium along with the K5 and K6, Cyrix and Via pentium clones. in my experience the best s7 motherboards (i'm not sure about super s7 though because i haven't come across one) are GigaByte ones.
