Default Learning about Memory

Wanting to add some memory...I found this online at kingston's wesite-------------------------------

KTT3614/xxx (266) and KTT3311/xxx (333) are both supported for this system, and can be mixed, but will only run at 266MHz. -------

What exactly is 266 and 333??? Is it MHz???

Is there any pros and cons with using 333 if it will only run at 266???

Does anyone know a good website or link so I can learn more about this stuff>

This helps....I found this at Wikipedia ..............................

Most CPUs are labeled in terms of their clock speed expressed in megahertz or gigahertz (109 hertz)). The number of megahertz refers to the frequency of the CPU's master clock signal ("clock speed").

Various computer buses, such as memory buses connecting the CPU and system RAM, also transfer data using clock signals operating at frequencies in the megahertz range.

But still dont know if I should use 266 or 333???

333 will run a bit faster than 266. id go with the 333.

What that means is, when you mix 2 different speeds of ram, it will default to the lower of the 2 speeds. The answer is use all 333.
