Ok so i fried my xfx geforce 6800 xtreme 256mb...

I forgot to plug in the 4 molex...

So what should i upgrade to?

I just bought an $100 computer case and $200 Windows xp so i am kinda short...

I either want to get the same card or upgrade but don't want to spend over $120...

I don't think that forgetting the molex will fry your video card...

actually that is possible.

I'd just RMA it. No one needs to know why it was broken. Just say you got it defective. Even let the idiot on the other end of the line try to help you diagnose the problem(not saying all tech-support guys are idiots, just most are). Usually you could get a replacement within a week.

Umm I just found out that the video card works fine...

Its the motherboards pci express slot...

Is that fixable?

My computer restarts after the windows xp logo screen comes up...

Yesterday i got into my account and every game i clicked on my computer restarted...

Today i got into safe mode and clicked on one game and it started but froze on the screen for about 30 sec. but i can play it...

Its only midtown madness 2 that i can play in safe mode though...

That is fixable right?
