My dad said he might get me a laptop for christmas (cause i want my own as i cant bring my moms over here) and i was looking over Dell's website and found this:

I dont plan to use it for high end games like F.E.A.R or anything just lower end games like CS:Source or DOD:Source. Will these games run any good and they dont have to be at the highest detail cause they actaully look good on low detail as well.

EDIT*: I should note that i'd like to keep it under $600 if any of you have suggestions for something else

what about an Xbvox 360 with Gears of War? Its cheaper and i'll probably get more intertainment out of it because of better gaphics and power. Anyone have a 360? any comments on it?
