Default Which laptop should I buy?

Hello everyone, I'm new to forum and was wondering if I could get some advice.

I have a $600.00 budget to buy a new laptop. I don't need anything special, but do need it reliable. I will be using it for home/business/media sharing, and some internet surfing.

Can anyone help point in the right direction?

That Compaq one is good as long as you're not playing games.

Its actually an Hp, they just use the model name compaq nc6000 but when it boots up good ol hp comes out. Yeah the graphics arent the best, but still way better than intel gma and older games will run fairly well, call of duty is one of them for example. Outstanding battery life.....5+ hours

Edit: It says integrated graphics on tiger direct but it actually has the mobility radeon 9600 , either 32mb or 64mb.

Oh wow, that's not bad at all then. My dad's old laptop is almost the same one except he has Intel graphics built in, not ATI. He can't even play WoW on his.
