Hey guys, i just got my AC adapter for my IBM Thinkpad 23 today and when I was trying to format it.. well it doesn. its like stuck at 0 percent for a long time. I deleted the partition and chose NTFS to format it. Is there anyway i can fix this?

Download your manufacturer's hard drive utility and run it. If it pulls up any errors, well, then you'll know what the problem is. If not, it could be a XP CD or CD drive problem.

uhh the thing is.. its like blank.. i cant load my OS and yeah.. i got a windows 2000 cd and its not liek formatting. it get stuck at 0 percent when i try to format after i delete a partion. ...

So? These utilities are designed to be totally self reliant and run totally in RAM. Try it, and see what happens.
