Who needs those anyways unless installing them into an old crap Windows 98 computer that didn't come with one integrated on the motherboard.

$4.99 shipping does seem like alot for a $1 item.
The reason somebody might need these is if they fix up old computers for people...and they could mark up a network adapter! Charge people $5 for it....
