Default Just a PC based Question

If i was to buy this PC:

AMD AM2 Athlon™ 64 X2-3800+ Dual Core
512MB DDR 2 533 MHz Memory
80GB IDE Hard Drive
Nvidia Gforce 6 Series 6100 128MB Direct
Samsung 52 X Cd Writer
8024 400 Watt Colors IT Case
7.1 Digital Soundcard
Front Audio & 2 USB Connectors
Rear Audio & 4-6 Rear USB 2.0 Connectors

Would i be able to add a better graphics card, say a ATI X1300?
and add another stick of 512 RAM?

Also, is it worth paying an extra 25 pounds for the AMD 64 X2 4200+? Does it make that much difference

Thanks Will

that would depend on the motherboard. Does it have the PCIE slot to handle a video card? and I'm sure you could add another stick.. just about every mobo I have seen has at least 2 slots on it, if not 4

The 4200... it's not worth it for a machine you buy. you won't see a huge or even noticable difference. Spend the 25 on another stick of ram.

What kind of monitor are you looking for...CRT or LCD? You can try Newegg.com.

Whats the difference mate?

I don't really care, aslong as its not too expensive, produces a good picture and is 17" or above?

LCDs are the flat panel monitors and CRT are the cube looking ones.
Check these 19" LCDs out:
