| Member (again) | One, that's not a Pentium. Two, it's not dual core. Regardless, I compared it to a REAL Pentium D... http://www23.tomshardware.com/cpu.ht...=471&chart=191 ...and the X2 is MUCH faster. (Granted, I picked the slowest P-D). |

| i hope you realise celeron D processors are not dual core. now there is no contest between the X2 3800 especially for gaming. p-rating wise an x2 3800 has 2x3200+ cores which in theory would line it up with the 3.2GHz Pentium D. in practice though the X2 series are more efficient in operation than a Pentium D and still have the same gaming advantages that the AMD64 single cores have over their comparable Intel brethren.
