wow, with chips like these and the G33/G31 chipset AMD is no longer the budget king

It seems to me that AMD still wins in the budget dual core market. But it certainly is nice to see more competition in that area (or at least, a more defined product for Intel). Drive prices down even more! It still amazes me that you can practically build a somewhat nice dual core system for about $200 (whether AMD or Intel). Nice to see these pricing wars paying off for the consumer.

for a chip that is less expensive then more powerful chips, amd has lost the budget race on lower end procs.

Release a whole new chip.

I was hoping to get a AMD Kuma, dual core versions of phenom but theres like no word on that and i got impacient and had to upgrade to the dark side :/
