sanka Newb Techie Join Date: Nov 2006 Posts: 2	Installing LGA 775 processor So I'm having trouble installing a processor. I open the latches and everything and put it down softly, but i can't close the latch with the processor there without damaging it! Make sure you have the CPU lined up correctly.

If you look at the pix, you can see the angled corner (lower right). It has to line up so that the CPU is in the correct psition.
