Default IDE-SATA Adapter

Hi, I recently picked up a Rockethead 100 IDE to SATA Adapter, and have set my ide drive to master, and plugged in all the power connections, as well as hooked the sata cable up to my main board.

The hard drive is not recognized at all by windows, could this mean I just need a BIOS flash or something?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I may just break down and get an external USB drive enclosure.

thanks,
Dave

No, not listed in the BIOS, but I went in under windows explorer last night, and all of a sudden it's there recognized no problem at all!

I don't know why it started working for no apparent reason, but no complaints here!
