I'm having some issues with me cdroms

My IDE's are old and probly not hooked up rite.

The first CdRom isnÂ’t hooked up now (no Y cable/extra IDE hook up) I know there are Y Power supply adapter cable (turn 1 into 2) which I will prolby have to get.

I want to replace them and hook everything up what would be the best way? I read some were not hook the CdRoms with harddrives/A-drive.

The most connecters I can find on one IDE is a 3 and I think my a-drive takes a special IDE hook up?

Any suggestions/tips?

Ok. I will guide you through...

Ide0: goes to both Hdd's
Ide1: goes to Optical drives
Floppy has its own smaller Ide ribbon

Dont mix them up it may cause damage.
