icon question

hey everyone - so I just installed a WD 1tb HDD, everything formatted correctly, however when I am browsing "my computer", the icon for the drive is the CD ROM one!!

Anyone know how to change the icon? this one has been stumping me!!

Have you restarted your computer? I don't think you can change the icon if it's not a shortcut.

yeah I've restarted numerous times. . .

anyone else got any ideas??

yeah. You can only change the icon if it is a shortcut. but that is weird that it is like that but ill keep looking into if you can change it for you.
