I'm guessing this is something illegal. Like burning illegal DVD's, with the multiple drives, he can burn, say, 10 of the same DVD's at one time.

Might not be illegal though. Could be someone distributing a version of linux by CD, or burning audio CD's to promote a band... I think it'd just be easier to get a place like Staples to do it for you, they can copy large amounts of a CD, like in the 100's, for a certain price.
