Default I need a new monitor

Is this a good deal? Or is this one of the older models?

http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11225728&whse=BC&Ne=5000001+40 00000&eCat=BC|84|1680&N=4018599%204294967156&Mo=0& No=0&Nr=P_CatalogName:BC&Ns=P_Price|1||P_SignDesc1 &lang=en-US&Sp=C&topnav=

What about this one.

Primary use would be gaming and 3d max.

Thank you, Harry

tbsk8er04 is an unknown quantity at this point

Personally I would buy your monitor off the net, just becuase you can get much better deals and the list you provide us seems rather expensive for the deminsions (24" for $300) seems sort of pricey to me.

Sorry I just copy and pasted.

I want at least a 24" for a new unit I will build or purchase.

I would like to keep it under $600.

This is quite good for the money:

Newegg.com - SCEPTRE X24WG-1080P Black 24" 2ms Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 4000:1 Built in Speakers - Retail

Also keep in mind that 1920x1200 is a very high resolution. You will need a beefy graphics card to play most games well at the monitor's native resolution.

What's the rest of your system specs? (mobo/cpu/etc)

Might want to consider the 9800GX2. Currently the fastest card out....or if you want to save some money the 9600GT cards in SLI are only roughly 300 dollars and are only just short of the 9800GX2 performance-wise.
