How to delete protected or in use files?
i just re-installed my windows xp home OS and im trying to delete all my old stuff and some random pictures folders says its in use or protected, how can i delete this?

Delete them in safe mode.

close the programs that are using them
if it's being used by explorer, close it and delete the file using a command prompt
