Default How to buy fan for video card?

Hi all:

I have FX 5600 Ultra 256MB video card. It has a heat sink with a fan on it. I've been using it quite extensively for about year and a half and now this fan makes lots of noise. Is there any way to change it, or make it work a little bit quieter?

I'd say your warranty has gone, so look at the Arctic Coolers, these are good if you have room for dual height, otherwise, youc oculd look at chipset fans, although these probably wont fit. Have a look at Arctic cooler, and often Zalman do good ones! Rather large though! Hope this helps

one of these might help...

VF-900

VF-700

Arctic Cooling

But the Arctic Cooling one I would check out yourself first. The AC website says 5600/5700's are the same cooler... but Newegg doesn't say that... I've had an Arctic Cooling and really liked it (for a 6800GT) and I have a VF-700 on my 7900 now... and REALLY like it! depending on your budget and machine useage, might I suggest an upgrade in cards first? then maybe an after market cooler? Albeit the 5600 is still a good card, it's just dated.
