How big would the performance jump be
From:
A7n8x-x socket A
Amd athlon xp 3000+
to:
AMD Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego 2.2GHz Socket 939 Processor Model ADA3700CFBOX
ECS K8T890-A (1.0A) Socket 939 VIA K8T890 ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail
wut would be the performance jump?

That is a huge performance jump.
The Athlon XP is good, but not great.
The Athlon 64 is 64-bit (faster), and can support the new versions of Windows XP and Vista.
The ECS motherboard is much better as well.

Dunno about the motherboard part, but you will definately see a huge jump in performance.
