i'm interested in getting a light laptop that has a dvd drive. How's this one? Are there any laptops better than that and have a competitive price?

ive never heard of that brand, so i dont know about their quality. however, you can get something with similar specs for less probably. don't ask me to find it for you, just do some more shopping around. check newegg.com and monarchcomputer.com <<<maybe you can build a custom one there

you can't yet at monarchcomputer.com i just found out, but I think you can other places. NEWEGG.COM has alot of Acer laptops that look really good but not many have 1gig of RAM. most have 2x256mb of ram.... but theres lots of them with much faster processors in them too.

keep shopping around, i know you'll find something at a better deal

Just don't get a Dell laptop, those things are f****** heavy. My dad has a HP laptop and it's not that heavy. Runs CS:S good too.

I bought my girl a $1200 Gateway laptop about 2 weeks ago. It is pretty nice. Got it from Best Buy.
