Post Help With Graphics Card?

Ok I'm building a new unit and I need help with what Graphics setup I should get. I want to run C&C: Tiberium Wars, World In Conflict and BF2. This is what I've got now I just need the Graphics card,

CPU - Intel Pentium D 820
RAM - 2GB DDR2 667
MOBO - Gigabyte 945P
Sound - Sound Blaster 5.1 Live

Now I've got 3 choices with what I want to go with:
Nvidia 8600 512
Nvidia 8800 512
Nvidia 9600

Now the 8600 is 130$ but the 8800 and 9600 are both 300$+ What do you guys think would be the best "bang for buck" as it were?

Pentium D's are VERY bad, go with Core 2 Duo's or a Pentium Dual Core. And 9600GT's are only $170... The 8800GT ($220) is abit better but a 9600GT will last you.

CPU: Intel Pentium E2200 Allendale 2.2GHz
RAM: A-DATA 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800

The 8600 should never be considered anymore. The best bet here for that system would be the 9600 (which is only about $170 btw), considering a 8800gt would be overkill paired with that processor.

The 9600 is a great card.

The 8600 is still a nice card, I just got one before the 9600 came out, it'll run almost anything you throw at it at high res and settings. It's an MSI 8600GT OC. But with the price now of the 9600, I would go with that.

incase ya'll missed it, he said he HAS this:

MOBO - Gigabyte 945P

... not that he was buying it.

One important consideration is whether or not you have a PSU that will feed the GFX card. I am guessing that your mobo has a PCI-E slot for the card (can't check right now... is that the model number or just the chipset?).
