im in the market for an lcd monitor, preferably widescreen.
my friend has the ASUS VW192T 19" widescreen which i think from what i've seen of is a good monitor but i'm also looking at the Chimei 946D which is the same size but has 2 ms response instead of 5ms.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated and also your thoughts on those 2 monitors.

I am flexible with the price and will go upto about $400 ish australian dollars.

I'm actually looking for a new LCD aswell at the moment for around the same price. I just wanted to point out that you can get the Chimei 22" Widescreen LCD for around $450. I'm thinking of stretching my budget a bit for it. Otherwise go for the ASUS, my freind has that monitor and its great.

what's your monitor like ricanflow ? that's got a nice price tag if its a good lcd...

Its nice, very bright, clear, no dead pixels. Great monitor.
