i have the choice between a Dell Dimension 3000 or a HP Compaq Presario Media Center SR2020NX. witch one is better??? and witch one has a better proccesor?? the dell has a intel celeron d 2.66ghz or the AMD 64 Athalon 3000+ 2.1ghz ( i think it was 2.1 )

How much are these computers costing? since they are older computers they should be cheap. Would you have any adversion to building your own?

Well free is a good price for both of these computers.

The searches I have found leads me to believe the Compaq has a 3500+ cpu, more ram and more hard drive space than the dell.

Go for the Compaq.
