Hey, I just received an Icemat Siberia headset with USB soundcard. I also have an X-Fi XtremeGamer soundcard. My question is would using the Icemat's USB soundcard render the X-Fi soundcard useless? Will the X-fi soundcard and icemat's usb soundcard both be working? And if it is so that only one or the other will work, which one should I use? thx guys

Both soundcards will work, you can select which on in the sound control panel

question do you have 5.1 speakers or more? or just 2.1? just 1 sound card is enough with 2 speakers.

ok so the x-fi is obviously better but should i just uninstall the usb soundcard and just use the x-fi? will having the usb card in improve my sound?

i have 2.1 speakers but i dont use them. i use my icemat siberia headphones.
