Default Have a question about c2d

I have been reading around and it seems c2d aren't like old Pentium's. Something with the pins and the heatsink. Just playing it safe, yes i have a core2duo supported mother board, i dont have to use the stock heatsink they give me right? I currently have a zalman 7000B ALCu. I'm pretty sure ill have no prob. im just making sure

(To use this product on socket 775, ZM-CS1 must be purchased separately.) That's what it says for compatibility. So make sure you have that.
