I built my own computer and it was working fine for the 1st 3 weeks then the monitor wont turn on I have a Hanns G and when I turn it on it says no signal input check video cable, I tried it with a different cable and same thing....

Try connecting to VGA, if you were using DVI, or the other way around. Have you tried another monitor? Does your computer boot fine otherwise? If not it might be your videocard.

My friend had the same problem with his Hannsg. It wouldn't work with DVI so we just used the adapter that came w/ his video card for VGA. This worked and still works, dunno why its picky though

yea now it will turn on but sometimes its a blank screen/will go in standby mode and I have to restart my pc then it will work...
