Hello people I dont know much about computers and I am thinkning of buying a new graphics card. This is my PC

not the beast of PC's I know . The only thing differnt to that write up is that i have added an extra 512mb of ram so it has 1 gb and the graphics card is FX5500. I am thinking of buying the Geforce 7300GS graphics card (not the best of cards either but its cheap )

I was just wondering will this card run on my PC as it is a PCI express card or sumthin and i no nothing of AGP or PCI or weather my comp has either of these things.

Any info would be appreciated greatly

Oh yeah if not could you guys reccomend a nice graphics card that will work on my PC one that will play nw games I have a FX 5500 at the mo and can play most new games that come out but need to upgrade it.

BY looking at the video card in your system now it a nVidia Geforce4 MX 440-SE which by googling, tells me it's AGP.

What is your budget? we can help with the card, cause the 7300's suck. if you can go for something like this at least:

Yeah I have about 100 UK pounds to spend so will look in to some other cards thank you

Your computer has AGP and it is slowly fading out because of PCI-E (Pci- Express) DONT BUY THE 7300GS, it is very poor... Well im not sure of your budget but heres a decent card.
