in my opinion it should run anything u throw at it . the ram is ddr3 thats the latest 4 gpus. 20 pixel pipelines most have 12-16.so in my opinion yes .

Yeah, thats a good video card. There are better cards, I wouldn't call it REALLY good (x1950xtx and 7950gx2 are REALLY good.)

not sure what the currency conversion is like but i know when i compared a 7900GS and a 7900GT over here (both XFX base models) the saving on the 7900GS really didn't seem justified. in my humble opinion go the full 9 yards for a GT

It will run any new game until Dx10 comes out in feb 2007... Better wait for DX10

I think you missunderstood there buddy. DX10 stands for Direct X 10. Febuary is when cards will come out that will support DX10.


EDIT: And the prices of the cards will vary. They'll probably release low end, mid end, high end, extreme high end, like they usually do.

The DirectX 10 cards will be expensive, but will run excellent on Vista, as well as games.


I just realized, Vista alone without any apps is really slow. But what is gaming like on a slow OS, with antivirus running, as well as the other crap people install???
