Gaming laptop

Hello, my friend is in need of a new laptop for college and gaming!

I searched fast, but he would like to have:
AMD Turion 1.8GHZ or FASTER
2GB ram, 1GB is Ok
100+ GB HDD
Nvidia 6800 or 7800 OR ATI X700+

To top this off, he needs really good battery life!

Anyone know of any good pcs? He will accept intel, but I'd prefer if he had AMD

Yes, I am very interested in the same thing that you are Mack. I need something that would be sufficient to run pretty basic word processing, but be able to handle some hig quality graphics for the gaming that I am into. I would also like to have the portability of a notebook.

The things that I am interested in are:

Notebook

AMD's "Power Now"
2 PC Card Slots
Expansion Ports
Docking Station
Wireless Otption
