| I let a friend of mine take a look at my computer because I had a few bugs in it that my anti virus found but could not remove. He somehow removed them, but at the same time he must have removed something critical. My keyboard was no longer working and the mouse may or may not fuction after rebooting several times.I've ran system restore with no luck so I decided to format the hard drive. I put in my recovery disc then rebooted the computer. When it comes on it says," press 'F' to format hard drive". So I am stuck because I'm unable to use the keyboard. And also, even though it knows that the recovery disc is in the drive, if I go to my computer the DVD drive is not present. My computer is a HP Pavillion a708n. If someone can help me I sure would appreciate it. Thanks for listening. ![]() |
