Unhappy final build and choicesO_o

So this is the final build with the last choices. I don't know if it is worth the money to buy the GTO rather than the GS. Iam planning on upgrading to Vista when the cards are resonably priced ($200-$300). should i wait ? or should i get the GTO and keep it till you almost have to buy a DX10 card. will I have to buy a DX10 card when all the games are DX10? what will the advantages be?
(prices are canadian from Direct Canada with the exception of the OS, PSU, and case which are from my local computer store.)

If you have enough money, get an 8800GTX.

You can keep the GS right now, and then use evga's step-up program to get the budget DX10 cards coming out in a few months.

I think you meant the P5N-E 650i.

I would wait for the prices of DX10 cards to come down. that will probably happen in the next month or two. As for the advantages of DX10 you can read this for some advantages. http://www.driverheaven.net/articles/dx10/

It's hard to say at this point how much cards will come down in the next few months but I wouldn't be surprised to see a DX10 card for $300 soon after the launch of Vista. Of course it won't be as fast as the 8800 but it would be DX10 and probably fast enough to get the job done
