Default Fan Monitoring Problem

Hi,

I just set up my Asus A8N-E and installed all the drivers / softwrae from the support CD and everything works great! I have 1 problem though. Perhaps someone can help me out.

When I run the PC Probe for the monitoring utility, it says :

"Chassis Fan : Value 0 Chassis Fan Below Threshold"
Everything else looks good.

So, I opened up my case and noticed this:

I have a Coolermaster Centurion 5 case that has 2 fan - a rear fan by the power supply and a front fan.

Both fans have power supply connectors... and the REAR fan has a plug that looks like you can plug it into the mobo for fan monitoring.... However, the connector is really short and would only fit into the CHA2_FAN connector on the mobo.

So, I'm assuming that the monitor software is looking at CHA1_FAN connection?

1) Is there any kind of extension for the connector (small 3 pin connector)

2( Is this what is going on? Or is the board defective? Anybody have any ideas what to do?
