Default Equivalent GPU

Ive got a comp running on an Intel GMA 950 internal graphics. I was wondering what card would be its quivalent.

Its integrated anything is better than that I think something like a Nvidia 6200 is similar. A 6200 would still be better as most graphics cards will having dedicated ram and not using system resources.

I don't think so, baronvongogo. The 6100/6150 chipsets run circles around Intel's graphics, and they are integrated as well.

yes I do remember a review on integrated graphics might have been on tomshardware, I was basing it on pixel pipelines and core speed for a comparable graphics card. I never thought to compare it with a other integrated chipset.

well Intel intergrated would be on the bottom of the list.
The Best would be ATI x1250 which is like a x700 and Nvdia Geforce 7050 which is pretty much the same.

Oh my bad forgot GMA 950 was for laptops and macs.
8700m GT? y not got the power of a 8600GTS or 7600GT.

If your going with best y dont u use a SLI notebook for double the gpu power.
