Default Enough Power or do I need more?

Ok, here are the specs of the new PC I am going to be purchasing pretty soon.

Intel® Core™ 2 Duo E6300 1.86GHz 2MB Cache 1066MHz FSB
700 Watt Power Supply
Intel® 975X Motherboard
2GB DDR2 Performance SDRAM at 667MHz - 2 x 1024MB
160GB Serial ATA 3Gb/s 7,200 RPM w/ NCQ & 8MB Cache
256MB ATI RADEON™ X1600 XT w/ Avivo™ Technology
High Definition 7.1 Audio

Would this be enough to run say a game such as FEAR at the highest level possible?

Also would there be a dramatic difference if I upgraded from a ATI X1600 to an X1800?

Your system is already good enough for FEAR at high settings.

X1800s are way better than x1600s if you got one you would notice a huge difference, i'm speaking of the 1800XT model though.

Yes, you will notice an increase with the x1800... to the best of my knowledge, the x1600 is a midrange card, and I would be DOUBTFUL that it would play FEAR at the highest settings. Well, it might, but I would wager on framerates being dismal, and near un-playable.

700 watts plenty for that setup, you getting the OCZ psu? I recommend the Seasonic S12 600 watt, though it isn't modular, and 100 watts less output, its still a Seasonic.
