Default DVD Burner

Just want to be clear on this....

If it's labeled as a "DVD Burner"....is it also a CD burner as well?

I'm looking at this burner here:

Newegg.com - LITE-ON Black 18X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 8X DVD+R DL 18X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 12X DVD-RAM 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 32X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM IDE DVD Burner - Retail

4/5 eggs...any recommendations would be nice

also, what are the advantages and disadvantages of E-IDE/ATAPI vs SATA?

Yes there is where it states it burns CD's as well. SATA and IDE work just as well however some people hate the IDE ribbon and get a slim SATA cable. Plus there are plenty of SATA ports anymore. It doesnt matter since you can buy a round IDE cable too.
