Hi there i was wondering if you could tell me if there would be any problems running the Dell Dimension 9150 with the 8800 Gtx. I know it has a PCI Express Slot but i have things about power supply, which im not to sure about. I have 2 gigs of ram and the CPU is a dual core 930. Any help would be great thank you

I think the biggest problem would be could it fit in the case its a mighty big card. I do think it would work though just...the case looks small.

eh i think it would be fine.....it should fit nicely.....


and im pretty sure you have a 450 watt PSU.....

i think a 8800gtx will need a little more power or hardcore gaming......its your desicion...

if you look further down the 8800GTX doesnt fit this case its just worth knowing its a big card and if you have hard drive bays close to the PCI-E slot then it might cause problems.

Ill have to open her up tonight and check both the power and the spacwe around the PCI slot

£50-£80 the 8800GTX will only need about 500W anyway.

As long as you have 28 amps on the +12v rails, and 450W...you're good.

I was going to go with that 600 dollar beast. Supporting DirectX 10! OF course that's not the current as games now are mainly DirextX 9 (or lower). However my fairly large case was NOT compatable with the card! And i don't have a small case. I'll be upgrading case and video card in 6-12 months!
