I am looking for a decent computer in the $350-500 range to use mostly for office tasks (Quicken, documents, etc.), but also some casual multimedia things (i.e. music, cd burning, etc.) Any suggestions?

Software bundles are not important to me.

You probally wouldn't get much cheaper than a dell including a legal copy of XP.

Well, I was going to throw a suggestion out there because I was forced into a $700 budget gaming PC for a kid. It's possible when you subtract the video card and the time I charge.

I think that is £15 more than a dell. You could get a cheaper case and a generic PSU for £15 less than that, to put it on par with Dell qualty, and this system has a better graphics card.

That's rare...most people (including myself) have an urge to do it again and again once they've done it.

That ABS system you posted above will be good, but it may be a little overkill.
