which cpu shall i get?

hi there ive got this problem that someone else had on the forum yesterday but im still deciding which cpu is better as i dont know which one to get out of these two could someone give me some advice on which one is better to get.

Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 "Energy Efficient 95W Edition" 2.40GHz (1066FSB) - Retail

Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 "LGA775 Conroe" 3.00GHz (1333FSB) - Retail

ps whats the difference between the two quad core Q6600 editions thnaks.

Definitely go with the Q6600. For the same price of a dual core, why not go quad core? The difference between the two Q6600s, is obviously the energy efficiency.

From a lot of reviews, the Q6600 seem to run quite warm. Most even suggest getting aftermarket cooling for it.
