Default Computer Packages

I'm not sure if I posted in the correct place but if I didn't, pls move me. I'm not very good with computers but I feel like I need another one. I looked around at a few stores and I found 2 computers that I really like and I'm not sure which one I should go for. I currently am using my computer for games such as World of Warcraft and Halo. Next year when I'll be starting up school again I'll be heavily involved in 3-D animation and video editing. I was wondering which one of these two following computers would best soak-up my computer beating and still be usable for the next three to four years

Go with the second. No question about it.

The second one beats the **** out of the first one. The first one is way too overpriced. The main thing is that the second one has a good videocard in the 7600gt which will last you those 4-5 years if all you're doing is videoediting, and those other games like Wow and Halo. I say get the second one, best deal all around.

I'm guessing the second one isn't a prebuilt huh? lol. You put things together and added em up form a website? It's still a nice build.

The first one i found at www.futureshop.ca (advertises on TV its computer deals)
The second one i got from http://www.computraksystem.com/ (friend bought his computer from there)

Thanks for the quick help guys

Just wondering though if there are any cheap upgrades I should do on the second one to improve its performance ?

Future Shop would normally be cheaper for a system like that, but the brand might be different...and it's a department store, they dont really care about customers, only getting money

A private store usually takes care of you better, and might offer a lower price, if they're nice
