Default compatible?

this may sound like a stupid question but are all Socket T (LGA 775) Mobo's compatible with the Intel E6400 Core 2 Duo CPU? because i was told on another forum that a Mobo that i had picked out that was Socket T (LGA 775) and someone said that "i dont think that Mobo is compatible with the CPU". i just want a second opnion because no one else said anything in that forum. thanks for any and all help.

No, not all of them. You can physically put the processor in the socket, but the chipset has to support the CPU in order for it to work.
