Default cleaning my machine

Hello

I wanted to clean up the insides of my machine.

The processor fan especially has got hige gunks of dirt, how do i clean that. using compressed air only cleans a bit, leaves most of the gunk there though

If it's a gunk, why don't you just pick at it?

what is a q-tip?

most of the gun is on the fan that sits on top of the processor. i dont think i have the courage to remove that fan, i heard that after some time the fan kind of fuses with the processor

A q-tip is a cotton swap, you clean you ears with them you know. I used it to clean that piece of crap Sony calls a play station 2. It fixed some of my problems that didn't come from run down gears. But yeah, try that. And how exactly did you get hardened 'gunk" on your fan?

i think it accumulated over 2 years and hardened

i looked for compressed air and found a can for 7 pounds, man, that is expensive

cleaning a computer case for 7 GBP, is there a cheaper way?

Wow, well maybe a small sharp object, like a pen knife. The suck it up with a vacum. I don''t know, mine's never got that dirty.

Maybe one of those little bitty ones that you have for conventional use, or the tube on the side of a normal sized vacum cleaner.
