choosing a laptop

ok i have around $1500 to spend on a laptop... i've came to 2 choices...

macbook

# 2.0GHz Intel Core Duo
# 1GB 667 DDR2 SDRAM - 2x512
# 80GB Serial ATA drive
# SuperDrive (DVD±RW/CD-RW)
# Keyboard/Mac OS - U.S. English
# AirPort Extreme Card & Bluetooth

$1599

or

dell xps

intel cor duo 1.87 GHz
2gb ram
80gb 7200 rpm hd
256mb geforce 7400 GO

$1774

i can get 2gb of ram for the macbook for another $400, but i dont think thats worth it... the only thing is i dont have any info about the gpu on the macbook at all.... none that i can find anyway, anyone know anything about them?

Macbook hands down. Just get the ram from NewEgg.com, its wayy cheaper. I got a gig for $80. The GPU in the Macbook is an Intel one, but I used one the other day, and it's as good as my 9600 Pro and work.

The Dell isn't even a contender for pretty obvious reasons

But yeah, get the Macbook, you won't regret it.
